What are the benefits of a daily Yoga Nidra practice?

Yoga Nidra gives you direct access to the extraordinary powers of your own intuition and creativity.

Yoga Nidra initiates shifts from the deepest core of your being, providing you with the powerful tools to banish self-destructive unconscious fears, beliefs and habits.

As we age, the tiny pineal gland which is buried deep inside the brain, decreasingly produces the hormone, melatonin.  Reactivation of the pineal gland by focusing on the “third eye” (between the eyebrows) is both rejuvenating and restorative in that melatonin is a powerful agent in helping to:

-Slow down premature aging

-Boost the immune system

-Eliminate stress

-Reduce high blood pressure

-Recharge and balance the chakra system.

-Induce more restful sleep by going into REM sleep within 20 minutes, when in regular sleep up to 4 hours to reach.

What's not to love!

I share Restorative, Hatha, Chair/Desk Yoga and Yoga Nidra as well as being a Yoga Therapist and eternal seeker. I would like people to know that they can take back control of their bodies and stop pain, stress, anxiety. I offer yoga therapy to help alleviate the body pain and other issues but I also help people to take responsibility for their own bodies, by giving them the tools to do exactly that. These tools can be sought through the practice of Yoga postures, movement, breath-work and meditation.
